Greetings all,

We are just over three weeks away from the Global Celebration of Female Hockey!  World Girls Hockey Weekend is October 6-8 and we encourage your associations, teams and players to participate this year.  Events that register through Hockey Canada with receive free toques for all participants.  Please register early to ensure that your group receives the toques, there are only 15,000 for all of the events across Canada!

You can celebrate the female game in a number of different ways, it does not just have to be about playing hockey.  Street hockey games, wearing jerseys to school, mother/daughter skates or getting together to watch hockey are all ways that you can celebrate female hockey.  These are just suggestions and there are many more ways to celebrate female hockey around the globe, so please be creative!

The Long Game across Canada will be hosted in Edmonton again this year at Bill Hunter Arena.  Activities will begin at 8:00AM and cap off in the National Women's Team playing K of C AAA at 5:30PM.  For more information and details, please continue to check EGHA's website.
